Quell Supports New Child Safety Handbook

Quell has donated 300 children’s panic alarms for the recent launch of the new look Child Safety Handbook held in Sydney, Perth and Brisbane.

“The Child Safety Book is the perfect way for Quell to help contribute to the well being of children through the provision of important health and safety information,” said David Laundry, National Consumer Manager, Consumer Fire Safety Products.

The alarm which was included in the promotion bags for all the children at the launch is the newest edition to Quell’s range of trusted home and personal safety products.

The panic alarm works by pulling out the pin or pressing the button to activate a 100 decibel alarm. To turn the alarm off the child simply replaces the pin to the plug or releases the button.

“The brightly coloured, pocket sized personal alarm is a great way to boost the confidence in Australian children and their parents,” said Mr. Laundry. “The alarm looks like a mobile phone and has an LED flashlight to light the way in the dark,” he added.

The children’s panic alarm comes in assorted colours and includes a belt clip, key ring and chain.
