Chubb Implements state of the art monitoring platform - MASterMind

At Chubb a great emphasis is placed on ensuring that we provide our customers with a high quality and value for money security service. We do so without compromising our ongoing investment to not only maintain, but continually upgrade our monitoring and response infrastructure to ensure we remain the industry leader. A recent example of our ongoing investment is the $2.5 million upgrade of our monitoring systems.

The company is in the final phase of the deployment of the new MASterMind monitoring platform which is due to be implemented in our Australian monitoring centres from the 23 June until the 14 July. Enhancements to monitoring and dispatch functionality will allow Chubb to further increase customer satisfaction levels and provide customers who receive scheduled reports electronically, in a more user friendly and easy to read format.

What is MASterMind?
MASterMind is a state of the art monitoring platform that is the world’s foremost alarm monitoring platform. As well as being able to monitor all types of alarm activity, MASterMind has a comprehensive suite of product offerings including service management, integrated web-solutions, video, access control, telephony, GPS tracking and specialized reporting.

What does this mean for me?
MASterMind will make it more efficient and quicker for Chubb to respond to your alarm signals, thus allowing us to activate your predetermined emergency response plan faster.

During the transition there will be no impact to the majority of our customers however a small number may encounter some minor issues. This may include data entry updates being slightly delayed or the non-receipt of certain monitoring reports. We anticipate this will only be for a very short period. All alarm signals will continue to be processed and action taken as normal.

Are there any other benefits?
The immediate benefits of MASterMind include more user friendly and easy to read monitoring reports.  MASterMind also has a number of additional capabilities including Automated Alarm notification, and enhanced SMConnect and VRT services that will be available to customers in the near future.

What if I am a Current SMConnect or VRT customer?
Current users will be provided with new access details, which they will receive directly from Chubb prior to the implementation of MASterMind.
